THE REYNOLDS CROSSING STORY
In 1955 Reynolds Metals purchased 125 acres in rural Henrico County just west of Richmond to construct their progressively designed corporate headquarters. In 2000, Reynolds Metals merged with Alcoa making most of the Reynolds Metal’s former campus surplus real estate. Immediately, the former headquarters campus became the most sought after real estate opportunity in central Virginia. The 87 acre campus’ central location at two major I-64 interchanges in Richmond’s affluent west end is irreplaceable real estate. In 2003, Altria relocated their global headquarters to Richmond and selected Reynolds Crossing as their new home. Since 2008, 650,000 square feet of commercial development has been constructed at Reynolds Crossing, making it by far the largest single commercial development in Richmond over that same period. The tremendous demand from office and retail users alike illustrate the superior intrinsic attributes of Reynolds Crossing.
